“Her smile lit every dark place in his soul” – To the Last Man by Jeff Shaara
Did you ever wonder what we sound like to the British? We know what they sound like to us. You hear a Brit speak and right away you know he’s from England.
Unless of course he’s from Scotland. Then you have no idea what his nationality is or what language he’s speaking. Am I right?
Enough already.
Know anybody who’s always stewing over something? Walks around with a somber expression. Seldom laughs? Hardly ever smiles?
They think too much. Wonder about everything. Always searching for an answer to even the most trivial matters such as what do we sound like to the British?
I know that person. He was me.
Now………………………not so much.
Thanks to my daughter, I’ve reconnected with my funny bone.
Ahhhhh………….the rewards of laughter. Good for the soul as well as the body.
Laughs and smiles.
I can live with that.
And some love. Got to have the love.
