It Just Is

“Life has no meaning, it just is” – Morgan Freeman on Through the Wormhole

I believe Morgan has a point. And it is not in conflict with the beliefs of Christianity.

In fact, his point negates many considered contradictions of Christianity.

For instance, if God is all knowing and all loving, what is the explanation for the history of human suffering? Most believers, unable to articulate this obvious paradox state simply that “God works in mysterious ways”.

No he doesn’t.

The problem is that we humans think in mysterious ways.

“I have a problem with a religion that says faith in itself is enough for a ticket to heaven. In other words, that the ideal is your ability to manipulate your own common sense to accept something your intellect rejects.”  – The Redeemer by Jo Nesbo
