“Early life experiences had a way of imprinting on a child’s behavioral patterns” – Harbor Nocturne by Joseph Wambaugh

A harm done to a child, whether physical or emotional, or both, becomes a seeping wound that never heals.

The harm is either the result of ignorance or evil. Ignorance can be recognized and forgiven. Evil cannot.

Either way, the scar remains.
