This is Isidro Rodriguez. We call him Izzy.
26 years ago he walked onto the floor of a drilling rig and launched a career.
Izzy is the Tool Pusher – the no 2 man on a drilling operation. In that position he answer’s only to the Co Man. A very responsible, important position.
However, all of that is mere dressing to the guy. Background noise. Izzy the man is a rare human being. Every conversation with him begins with him asking “How are you? Need anything? Anything I can do for you?”
He’s my friend.

Texas Heat 
We see them out here fairly often. Their motivation is inspiring, especially when the environment and hours are factored in. I can only hope they are rewarded for their efforts.

I’m not following you here. If you are referring to Tool Pushers in general they are compensated very well.
