The following is a quote from a link published on FB by my sister-in-law. Usually I just don’t bother with these “life embellishing” quotes, sayings, warnings, etc. etc. I’m a smart guy of 72. I don’t need no stinking words of wisdom from others.

I’ve got it all figured out.

Except, at times, I don’t.

These words hit home for me. Sometimes I just lose sight of how lucky I really am.

Maybe you do as well.

Good things should never be taken for granted.

If you think about the things you miss, you may notice that you didn’t realize their true worth until they were absent.

Do your best to be grateful for the people around you, the privileges you enjoy and the good experiences you’re having.

Life is fragile, and there is no guarantee that anything you have will still be there tomorrow.
