Lies and Insults

“Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then I repeat myself.”  Mark Twain

Had your fill of political ads yet?

Coming elections are spawning the mandatory tsunami of brain dead, mind numbing, insulting, blood oozing out of ears causing, absolute lies and falsehoods in a family setting B.S. that is designed to convince the majority of brain dead voters to elect a select few to represent them.

Ever wonder who could be inspired by this garbage?

God help us.

“No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.”  Mark Twain

I dearly love this country and even volunteered to defend it. In this PC society I feel the need to justify myself. Our framers never envisioned a country extending much further than the Mississippi River; if that, Thank goodness for Jefferson, but that’s another story. The framers also didn’t envision a population of over 300 million as can be seen by the number of representatives in the house. Unfortunately this republic is now strapped with a bloated bureaucracy that fails to accomplish much of anything. That bureaucracy has created a populous both dependent and expecting federal support. The poor and disenfranchised keep these as*holes in office. Back to the framers-in order to change anything a super majority vote is required; do you really think that will ever happen? And so the viscous circle continues….

Mark, I agree 100% with your comment. While much is required for a democracy to work, without a well educated voting public and established law and order, it just won’t work. We are at a cross roads and I believe we have already crossed over to the other side. I’m glad I won’t be around in another 50 years or so.

Oh, have you hit a nerve with me. “I’m so tired,” (picture Lily Von Shtupp of Blazing Saddles singing that song), “so very sick and tired” of these so called politicians who make it so obvious that they care nothing about their constituents but are more than ready to start taking bribes to make them millionaires. The lies that come out of their mouths that can never be followed through, or are conveniently forgotten, when they are elected are beyond amazement. I understand fully why the RNC is concerned about it’s image and the inability to attract new people to their base. Look at these idiots currently slamming one another. Yes, Bobby Joe…the circus has indeed come to town.
DISCLAIMER: Lest I be accused of being on one side or another…the above statement applies to all parties and politicians.

We must share DNA. I couldn’t have said it better. I have decided that no one represents me. Wouldn’t it be interesting to force all these politicos to defend their actions to Judge Judy. One possible explanation of the hatred we seem to engender around the world is that those people have been forced to watch American sitcoms, commercials, and political ads. That would do it.
