Ever been in a situation where a wall you can’t penetrate has come between you and a friend or a family member?

Maybe something was said or done at the wrong time or place. Probably something silly. Nevertheless, offense was taken and now that relationship is torn asunder. The setback is either temporary or permanent but whatever it is, often it is silly. Not always, but often.

Both parties, deep down, know the situation has taken on a life of its own. Things have gotten out of hand and both sides really want the rift to end but, neither side will budge. An outsider would classify the whole thing as stupid, dumb, and immature. Both parties, if they would admit it, agree. HOWEVER………………….

Doesn’t matter. The adamantine wall is there and there it shall stay.

We human beings really haven’t evolved all that much. Well…………….hold on. I’m probably painting with too broad a brush. I should amend that to “I haven’t evolved all that much.”
