Miss Kitty 2000 – 2012
Lost our pet and companion of 12 years this morning. Had to put her down. I’ve been through this before and it never gets easier.
We’ve been dog people and just didn’t think it was possible to get that attached to a cat. But we did. She was a wonderful creature to have around. She was always there to pet or crawl into your lap and feel good doing it.
Cats love you in their own way and quite differently than dogs. Dogs love and need us. Cats just let us love them. And, contrary to popular thinking, they do need us. They just hide that need well. If you are perceptive, you will recognize the signs.
We took this hard and yes, we cried. I’m not ashamed of that. It’s good to know we can still feel that way about another creature.
I hope you don’t mind me sharing this hurt with you. Maybe by spreading the pain around it won’t hurt so much.

Oh friends, I’m so very sorry.
I’ve lost a number of pets, dogs and cats. But living in an RV as a gate guard, it’s different with Henry. We’re always together. I can’t imagine him not being here.
I’m truly sorry.

I’m so sorry…. I have a beautiful cat that I have had over 20 years and she’s showing signs of needing to leave :(( My heart goes out to you very much and your words tell the story so well.

Damn, Bob and Gaby, I am really sorry. You know I am not the ultimate animal person, but I do know how attached you get to pets and it hurts a lot to lose them. Almost as much as close family members and more than some. I will give you a call, but just wanted to post something here, first. Miss Kitty was a special animal and I know you will miss her.

We lost our little black kitty, Pluto while working a gate in Cotulla last year. I’m not particularly a cat fancier, but I was deeply saddened as well. So sorry for your loss!

We will cry along with you…I feel so sorry for folks that can’t cry over the loss of a loved one. We had to put our little one down last June…canine Little Buddy…he was 13 years old. We never forget them.
